Just someone interesting, I guess. Someone who likes to discuss...
I'm moving to France with my partner in 4 months and I'd like to be able to have confident conversations by then. I'd prefer that people didn't automatically switch to English after the first few sentences.
Politics, philosophy, science, religion, sci-fi. Any combination of the above.
Food, animals, music theory, and linguistic...
Patient, corrects even minor mistakes, LGBT-friendly, understanding of dietary requirements and ingredients
being able to discuss dietary requirements, cuisines, animals, pet training, neurological and physical afflictions
I want to reach an intermediate conversational level of German...
Gordon Ramsay, science, history, music, conspiracy theories (except the moon landing - that was real), among most other things I guess
Ideal: someone who speaks German and lives in Vienna (I’m going to exchange there later this year). I can help with English. Patient and mildly interesting as well.
Life and love in the big city. Food, coffee, wine. Humour, films...
I’m here hoping to find people I can meet up with over a coffee/drink and have a good chat in Sydney! I find it helps to speak in one language at first, then switch to the second language - a great way to learn and it’s fun :)
I want to brush up on my Spanish so I can be good enough to volunteer overseas - I’ll be working with little kids, so it’d be good if I could focus on what they need without worrying about my own language barriers
By the time I die, I’d like to be able to speak 3 languages fluently....
I like discussing religion, sexuality, Harry Potter (of course) and many other things. I’m open to discuss any topic and learn words in German that relate to the topic.
Respectful, open to discuss a wide variety of topics, willing to be a friend, someone that can have a laugh and be serious.
